Air Jamaica Airline operated by the Jamaica Government was rated as one of the safest air lines in the world. It had very very few incidents in the way of crash and hostage holding

It also was re-known for providing some of the best meals and drinks selections during flight .
With all of that it ran into Bankruptcy and had to sell out to it contemporary Carribbean Airline.
That airline had the good luck of getting the Air Jamaica brand name.
It seem as if Caribbean Airline is having problems keeping the Air line viable and is considering laying off many of the Jamaican workers. However as expected the Jamaican Government is not please and is now thinking of taking some form of action against Caribbean Airline if they carry through with their plan staff cut of Jamaican workers.
